Girl's weekend
June 1st already! Wowzers!
Brad and Ian went on a camping trip up north this past weekend, so Lily and I enjoyed some "girl time" at home.
We stayed up late and watched movies, ate popcorn, played with sparklers, passed out Bible school invitations in the neighborhood, and, of course, did some crafting. We bought two tie-dying kits and a bunch of white things and came home and spent several hours tie-dying. We realized we were going to have extra dye left, so we rummaged through the house for more white articles, and ended up dying some fabric, bed linens for Lily's bed, and some of her doll clothing.
And now I have a really cool pair of tie-dyed shoes for next week's Bible school festivities, a couple of tie-dyed shirts, and Lily's got a whole tie-dyed wardrobe. I think that one of my favorite parts of the process was unwrapping the stuff after it had dyed and seeing the end results. It was always such a fun surprise.
We missed our guys, but we sure did enjoy our together-time.

Your home always looks so dreamy. What a wonderful haven you've created and maintained for your family, Amber.
Those purple flowers are amazing! Are they even real?!
Cheers,

I am drinking in every picture, they are all just lovely. Love the tie-dying projects, it was all so inspiring. It is a delight to enjoy just the girls at times.
