What a busy week it has been! Which explains my absence from my blog. But, as I've said before, real life trumps cyber life. :)
We've been busy with school, ballet and piano lessons, renovating/painting the basement, crafting, etc. And as crazy as this sounds, I've been working on pulling together next year's school curriculums for my kids. I like to get a jump start, and I find that I get really good deals on ebay when I buy when no one else is even thinking about the next year yet. Less competition on the auctions.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm going to be having a giveaway sometime soon. I've got a few goodies up my sleeve that I'm pulling together to bless someone with as I so appreciate all of my readers. It is very humbling to know that people out there actually enjoy visiting my little slice of cyberspace! I so appreciate the kind comments and encouragement that you leave.
(All the pretty princesses in my blessed life.)
And I leave you with one of Ian's latest creations - a zipline for his action figures:
Have a blessed day and a great weekend!

Wow! That zipline is great! Pretty princesses indeed! Im thankful that my girl has never had dressup so she is REALLY into it right- thankful that I get to witness her imagination, not thankful she had to go without...
Your oldest has grown so much! He's starting to look like a full on teenager!
Please send me some of your motivation. I just got excited because I ordered a bathing suit 5 min ago for this summer for my girl, next school year- whew. Seems like a million years away!
20!?!?!?! WOW! Way to grow, Sergei!!! Or "way to cook, Mom!" ;)
That zip line is great!
Leah Kate made a zip line a few weeks ago and the whole family got in on the engineering of it! She had a little bucket on it for her dolls to ride in!
Have a great weekend!
What a precious clan!!
Loved your comment. You are BRAVE!!
Love the zip line... very creative. Chopsticks are always a hoot here since for the life of me I can't figure them out! Thankfully while in China they had forks available for uncoordinated western folk like me!!
I've discovered that I usually start planning the following year's curriculum in January. I don't "try" to do that; it just seems to pop in my head about that time. And like you said, it's a great time to find bargains! :)
So, which curriculum are you planning to use? Not that I'm going to bid against you on Ebay or anything like that... ;-)
The zipline is great! So creative!
