Flying Solo...

Sergei loves pancakes. I mean he. really. loves. pancakes. It is a request on most mornings, and many mornings I decline only because it's more complicated and time-consuming than eggs and toast or cereal. And it makes a bigger mess since I always make my pancakes from scratch.

So when I told him we were having pancakes for breakfast this morning, he was so excited. And when I told him that he was making them, he was even happier. He always enjoys helping me in the kitchen and has already helped make pancakes several times.

But this morning was a little different. I handed the controls over to him for some solo pancake making.

Of course, I had to help him a little with a few of the measurements, but other than that he did it on his own.

And Ian, after taking his first bite, told Sergei that his pancakes were the best and fluffiest he had ever tasted. Well, what can I say? He learned from the best. Smile.

I'm with Sergei, I love some pancakes too, I just don't need them, and your pictures at the water look cool! It is so hot and humid here, most days I am just wishing for a full day of rain which we haven't seen in a while. Sounds like Sergei is loving his new home. Jackie
