Why I love craigslist...

Because I found this for $50.00. Yeah, you heard me right. $50.00. And my most recent find was this beauty of a computer armoire.

Look at all that nice distressing.

And with this lovely computer armoire, came this distressed bookshelf which is now quite at home in Lily's room.

This ensemble also came with a nice distressed wooden computer chair of the same color. It's in the basement and the lighting is bad so I didn't get a picture of it.
We got all three pieces for $250. Not as much as a steal as the $50 tv armoire, but still a great price considering what I'd pay for it brand new in a furniture store.
Okay, now here's the catch. You have to be a patient shopper. I looked for a tv armoire for 2 years before I found one that I loved and that was within my budget. I looked for a computer armoire for 1 year before finding this one.
However, if you're willing to be patient and diligently wait and look, then you never know what kind of a good deal you'll find on craigslist.
My current search? Two matching wing-back chairs for the master bedroom.

Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know
a few of the pictures aren't loading correctly. I'm not sure why but I think its
a linking issue. I've tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same outcome.

I'm new to the blog world but I'm trying to get started and
