magic
The last month since the plants and seeds had been tucked away in their warm, soil homes has been rather quiet in the garden. There has been weeding, of course, and also some watering (although the open skies have mostly taken care of that.) But other than that, the seeds had been left alone to do what God had made them to do ~ grow.
This week, though, our harvesting has begun. Yes, it's still just a small harvest, mostly herbs, some greens, several handfuls of berries, and a cucumber or zucchini here and there. But it's a sure sign that the soil, sun, and water have worked their magic and there will be much, much more very soon. Very soon, indeed.
