weekending...

Learning to knit {well, attempting to learn how to knit} via youtube. Lily's got the casting on figured out. I accomplished one row of very loose knit stitch with multiple dropped stitches. Haha.
Working on the pattern I'm teaching at my "Beginner's Crocheting" class at church tonight...
Rolled and ready to go...
Some really cute visitors stopped in for a few moments {just enough time to taste a spoonful of chocolate frosting!}
One of my most-favorite and most-read devotionals...

This really yummy chocolate frosting {one-bowl buttercream icing} for this equally yummy {and super easy} cake.

Have a super-blessed weekend!

I've been looking forever for a good chocolate frosting. I will be trying it for my mom's birthday in a couple of weeks.

I have been trying to find a crochet/knitting class. So far there is no instructor in my area. :( Hope they find one soon. I could not get the casting on figured out. I can't tell you how many times I watched the Utube video. Care to share the one you are using? To bad we don't live closer.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I have knitted a few things, but have to re-teach myself every time I start knitting again... I think It is because I learned to crochet first, and crocheting is automatically easy, where as knitting is not so. I admire knitting greatly though, and would love to take some classes if I ever get a little extra time, to improve and practice enough to make it stick inside my head.

Love your boot pile; it reminds me of mine, and sweetly reminds me that all of us that live in snowy, muddy country have our shoe/boot pile. Enjoyed all your pictures.

I look forward to trying your frosting recipe.
Have a great weekend.

I am drooling over that alpaca yarn... do they sell to the public?? I am looking forward to many more visits and getting to know you better... off to check out a few more blogs at the party before I call it a day.
Hugs,
