The grace-filled life is one of metamorphosis. The sin-stained life redeemed from the pit. Lifted up out of the shifting sand and set upon the firm Rock. The self-filled life, learning to yield to the Spirit-filled life.
"
For if anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation; the old is gone, the new has come." So says the Holy Word.
(II Corinthians 5:17)
Only
Yahweh can perform this miraculous transformation. This amazingly wonderful metamorphosis of taking a grimy, self-filled, pathetic life, covering it with His
amazing and
grace-filled blood, and producing a new life,
free from the bondage of the dark that once held us as a prisoner.
The metamorphosis of the soul, through Yahweh, is a complete one. Because He never does anything half-way. His creations are always complete. And a soul surrendered is a soul made complete.
This human soul must only rest. Climb into the warmth and security of its heavenly cocoon, it's Hiding Place, and await the life-changing transformation. For when full surrender comes, the full Spirit-filled soul develops.
And even in the midst of the beating rain and whipping wind of life, His cocoon surrounds us. The waves may crash about us, the storm threaten to overtake us, but, really, we're always wrapped up tight and safe in His silken, love-drenched thread of life no matter how loud the thunder resounds. For nothing can separate us from His love. Nothing.
And when we emerge from the storm, we emerge different from when we first entered. We can now spread our wings with less fear, less hesitation, because we know the One who will
ALWAYS hold us through the storms and through the stills. And we can fly as the Holy One intends us to. Not with perfection. Not with pride. Not with self-reliance. But with divine guidance, and a peace in knowing that it is the Life-Giver who puts the sweet breath of air under our wings that lifts us into the victorious life.
