This HUGE basket. I love this thing.
I was so excited when I found these crochet-trimmed white pillowcases. I've been looking for pillowcases like this for TWO years. But I'm very frugal and could never justify the price that the various shops had priced them. I paid $2.00 for two pillowcases. Wow.
I also found this big blue-tinted Ball canning jar. I plan on adding this to my collection of old glass bottles/jars that I have displayed in my kitchen.
I also got something else I've been wanting for a long time. My sweet husband bought me (and the kids) her...
I named her Molly. Oh, isn't she cute! And she's such a good little puppy. She likes to play but she also likes to lay around and sleep. And cuddle. I love her. Thanks for bringing Molly home, honey!
Look at those sweet little paws!
Have a great Monday!

I really like your finds. Molly is absolutely darling. Now you have three cute kids, because that's what puppies turn into. Giggle. Our two dogs, we call the girls. Wynnie and Dottie, two shitzus. Enjoy! :)
What cute little doggie and I just LOVE her name!!
Ohhh the basket! Ohhh the blue jar...hello darlin'!
Great Finds. Love the blue jar and big basket. But I think Molly is the cutest of all. What kind is she. Whatever she is adorable. I have a mini. schnauzer and love her. Jackie

Congrats on your newest addition! Your baskets are pretty cute too!
That's cool that you found something you've been looking for for so long. I love that blue jar. And I could just eat Molly up!
You did get some great finds. I crochet edges on some of my pillow cases and $2 is a bargain. It takes a while to do that. Your puppy is so cute.
You found some great things. The pillowcases are so pretty.
No problem about not getting back with me about the pickles. I also use a store bought mix. I did a little research and I found out that if you cut the cukes and let them soak in cold water for a couple of hours (my soaked overnight) that it helps to make them more crisp. I'll see if it really works.
Have a great day!
Love that jar and pillowcase! And what are your plans for the big basket? Makes me want to run out and do some thrifting, asap!
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment, otherwise I would not have found your beautiful blog. We have a lot in common, for one we were both RN's. I can honestly say that I love being a homemaker so much more.
Your pictures are lovely. The pupy is adorable. I also saw that you like "The proper care and feeding of husbands". Dr Laura's wisdom about men and women has been a big influence on my life. I look forward to following your blog.
I would have bought those same things!! I actually have a pillowcae similar to those, also.

you got some beauties. You were blessed to get the pillowcases for $1. I haven't shown them yet but I got some vintage lovelies recently. I hope I get a view of your ball jars. I just had to type the work whoof to leave my comment. ;D
