I always appreciate all the information and encouragement I can get as our family starts out on our homesteading adventure. We're a long way from where we eventually want to be, but we're progressing and we've got visions and dreams, so we're heading in the right direction!
I don't know if you've ever heard about Homestead Drying Racks. Now this is a real homesteading family. But they weren't always one. They picked up and left suburbia about ten years ago and started their own little homesteading dream. And now they make these really great, high-quality, sturdy-construction drying racks to support their homesteading life.
And they just started to publish their own brand new homesteading magazine, Homestead Community Post. And they are offering their very first, brand-spanking new issue for free!
I've already checked it out! First of all, it's adorable and very pretty to look at (I appreciate those kinds of things. Smile.) Second of all, it's full of great, helpful, encouraging, and inspirational information for all of those homesteaders, both wannabes and seasoned.
They're also the creators of some great homesteading DVDs (Homesteading for Beginners) that feature their own daughters, their own family as they teach, guide, and encourage those starting out in their own homesteading journey. I watched the trailers for these DVDs, and their
daughters are just so cute. And I was very impressed with their young domestic skills!
