Making A Home's Weekend Book Review: Max on Life

Max Lucado, a New York Times best-selling author, has compiled Biblical answers to some of life's most important and challenging questions in his new book, Max On Life: Answers and Insights to Your Most Important Questions.

In this book, Max offers Biblically-based answers to the questions that he has received from his readers over the years. Questions that are universal and on the minds of many Christians.

Lucado's book is divided into the following sections: God, Grace, and "Why am I here?"; Conflicts, Calamities, and "Why me?"; Prayer, Scripture, and "Why Church?"; Sex, Romance, and "Any chance of a second chance?"; Diapers, Disagreements, and "Any hope for prodigals?'; Work, Money, and "Where's the lifeline?"; Cemeteries, Heaven, Hell, and "Who goes there?"

This book is a great reference book to have around. What if a new believer asks you a question that you're not quite sure of the Biblical answer? This book would be a great resource for that! This book would also make a great gift for both a new believer as well as a long-time Christ-follower.

Max on Life also has a great topical index for easy retrieval of information, as well as a Scriptural index. The topical index is great because it enables you to look up the particular subject that you have questions about and find the exact page it is addressed on.

I highly enjoyed this book. I found answers to some questions that I have either had myself or been asked about by other people. This book is definitely going to be one that stays on my bookshelf to be used as a handy resource book!

*I received this book for free by the publisher in exchange for my honest review.*
