this morning...

It was a foggy start to the morning. It was quite lovely. Quiet time with my sweetie on the back deck. The birds chirping. The damp chill to the air. The colors of creation deepened by the moisture that hung thick. Curled up on a deck chair with my wonderful mug of coffee, the Word, and my journal.

Today there are errands to run, packages to mail, food to prepare for tomorrow's big trip to the French and Indian War encampment. We'll be heading north to one of our favorite family places, to take in some living history and do some hiking through the big, beautiful, raw woods.

Enjoy this Friday.

Love the foggy photos! Your yard is so pretty. I like your chicken coop area and the raised beds for plants. Hope you have a nice weekend!

Gorgeous photos! Loved the journal and Bible pic. I'm a fan of journalling too.
